“To those considering a new roof: I am writing in the hope that others can learn from my mistake when hiring a roofing contractor. We hired a roofer from Brinnon as their bid was approximately $2,000 less than the other bids I received, including the bid from HOPE Roofing, and we were doing our best to save money throughout an ongoing remodeling project. This roofer promised to have our roof completed by June 11th, 2008. On July 21st, our roof was still not complete and I had to fire the roofer for the shoddy work that had been done. Now that roofer has placed a lien on our property for not paying the amount of their initial bid! After firing the incompetent roofer, I called Nick at HOPE Roofing again. They had our roof completed by the end of the week and did an excellent job. Of course hindsight is 20/20, but if I’d only hired HOPE Roofing initially, I would have saved far more than $2,000 in time and frustration, not to mention upcoming attorney fees. Do yourself a favor and learn from my mistake. I strongly recommend HOPE Roofing for your roofing project. They are great to work with and do a first class job.”
